**Urgent: Hunger in Haiti Affects Children**

Did you know that there are children in Haiti who don't have enough food to eat?
As we celebrate our family gatherings and holiday feasts, millions of kids in Haiti are struggling to find their next meal. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world. Many families there don't have enough money to buy food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This means kids are often left to go hungry, which can weaken their bodies and minds.
The UN says **one in five children in Haiti are malnourished**. This is a huge problem because kids who don't get enough food have trouble growing strong and healthy. They might get sick more often, and have trouble learning in school.
Younes started selling lottery tickets in the streets to help feed himself and his family. He's 16 years old. Last month, he even went to school without eating breakfast.
Haiti doesn't have the resources or money to feed all its children. So people from other countries are stepping in to help. They are sending food, money, and caring for the kids. But it is a very big problem that needs our help.
**Many organizations are working together to end hunger in Haiti**. They believe that every child deserves to have enough to eat and a chance to build a better life.
For example, the UN has been helping. They deliver food to schools and communities, and teach farmers how to grow their own nutritious foods. This way, kids will have more green veggies to eat and more chances to learn.
