## Parade Details You Need to Know<\/p>\n
The parade will start at the corner of Jefferson and 6th Street, making its way through downtown Springfield. \ud83d\ude97\ud83d\udeb6\u200d\u2642\ufe0f See floats, marchers, and performers go west to 5th Street, south on 5th to Capitol, then head back north on 6th to the Reviewing Stand. Finally, the parade will make an exciting turn east on Washington and return to the starting point. Make sure to grab a good spot to see all the action! \ud83d\udccd<\/p>\n
This year’s theme is “RAISE A GLASS TO AN IRISH LASS,” so don\u2019t forget to wear something green and festive! \ud83d\udc9a\ud83c\udf40 We are thrilled to have Kylee Kazenski, the first female leprechaun from Notre Dame, leading the way as the Grand Marshal. There will be delicious food, candy, and even a beer garden hosted by Finnegan\u2019s Wake in Park Central Square for the adults. \ud83c\udf6d\ud83c\udf54 Choose from lots of tasty treats while you enjoy the festive atmosphere! \ud83e\udd73<\/p>\n
With over 100 entries and 2,000 participants, you’ll see marching bands, colorful floats, and maybe even get some candy thrown your way. \ud83c\udfb6\ud83c\udf88<\/p>\n
## Helpful Tips for the Day<\/p>\n
Remember, parking for parade entries is restricted to some areas. \ud83c\udd7f\ufe0f Public parking can be found in other Horace Mann lots, so get there early to find the best spot! \ud83d\ude97<\/p>\n
Arrive by 11:00 AM if you\u2019re part of the parade to check-in at the Parade Registration Area in the Horace Mann parking lot. You’ll need to be ready in your staging areas by 11:30 AM.\u23f0<\/p>\n
